My husband and I were lucky enough to squeeze in on a Saturday evening around 8:15 pm but I highly recommend getting a reservation as some guests were turned away at the door. We both ordered the vegetarian burrito (can be made vegan) and LOVED it. It had a wonderful savor, salsa inside, and the flavors blended so well together. The tortillas are homemade. I also tried the homemade ginger ale but would give it a 6/10. I liked that it wasn’t so sweet but it didn’t have the punch I was expecting. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and don’t understand the negative reviews about the customer service. I forgot to take a picture of the burrito as I was starving, but I included one photo of the warm colors and fun atmosphere. Read morethe waiter was really rude and charged us ¥660 yen for water for our table. A glass of water each for two people. I asked if we could just get tap water and he said no all the other tables pay for water too. However when we saw the other 3 tables they all had jugs of tap water on there so I asked again why we have to pay and he lied to us saying that all the tables pay for water. The body language and awkward exchange mirrored a lot of other interactions I’ve had with locals on the island. I checked the website, the front of the restaurant (which had a big “OPEN” sign next to the door), and their social media, and nothing whatsoever indicated that it was reservation only. It’s hard to put a finger on it, but if you’re a foreigner who can speak Japanese and you’ve been in Japan long enough, you know it when you see it. Save your money and go somewhere that actually wants...
