寿光園 — Restaurant in Ito

It’s our first time to visit Izu 2 weeks ago and we arrived quite late at night. It’s glad that the restaurant still opened. I have been in Japan for Yakiniku焼肉for many times and this was one of my top ranked restaurants. Prices are reasonable and high quality of beef. Most importantly, the boss マスター and the staff 家族スタッフwere very friendly. All my family and friends (including the kids) enjoyed the meal a lot. Foreigners can also order by apps on the mobile if you don’t know Japanese.

The place smelled delicious; however, they were not interested in serving us. My wife and kids walked through the door and the place was half full, but apparently they didn’t have any food. The manager/owner(?) made a big ‘X’ with his hands and kept repeating “no food”. We obviously could tell it wasn’t true because of the amount of people in there eating and the other people lining up outside. Absolutely above and beyond delicious!!! We arrived at about 8:45 pm, having tried two other restaurants that were already full or going to close soon. They were willing to accommodate us and it was one of the most delicious meals we’ve had in japan!!
