Uotoshi Sushi — Restaurant in Ito

Very nice experience! I go with my wife, we walk in, barely understand Japanese and mostly use google translate. The chef nicely and patiently introduce us the food. We ordered Omakase Sushi set. There are 9 sushi in each set and all of them are very fresh and yummy.

We travelled a long way and walked quite a lot for sightseeing in the afternoon so we were a bit hungry. After finishing the Omakase set we looked at the menu again, we were deciding what to order next, the Chef introduced us Tuna Sushi set. This is the BEST tuna sushi I have ever ate!!!

After the tuna set, the Chef also introduce us ‘Ma-Dai’ (Red Sea Bream) and Kanpachi (Great Amberjack).

All are very delicious.

Overall, the food quality is extraordinary good; Environment is good. The chef is nice and friendly. other local customer will talk with you, make it a very warm and friendly...

Don't hesitate and just book. Master is a true sushi craftsman with genuine and friendly Japanese hospitality. We ordered Omakase set, extra chutoro and aji sushi. Would highly recommend the cold sake from Shizuoka. Everything was delicious, with his shari (vinegared rice) among the best we have eaten across Japan.

P.S. people who previously gave one star reviews commenting on the price have clearly not seen the world out there. His prices are extremely reasonable for the quality.

Holy this was such a good experience. Not only was the food absolutely amazing the experience was wonderful. It’s a pretty small restaurant (only 6 seats) ran by one guy but the guy was so nice and funny.
