We were there on a Sunday evening. We were looking for somewhere close to our hotel to eat and found Amie cafe. With our limited Japanese we ordered and received a beautiful selection of food that we all grazed on. Selection of craft beers on tap. And wine by the glass. 2 mini salads that was served on 1 plate. Quiche (missed taking a photo) was delicious! Fried rice Okonomiyaki Scallion and vegetable Ajijio (no photo) And cheesecake to finish. Food was amazing. Fantastic friendly service. The lady that served us also cooked for us so it made it that much special. Very enjoyable evening. Thank you for making our first evening in Kagoshima...

We stopped in randomly for a drink, and ended up ordering the lemonade and basque cheesecake. Both were pleasantly surprises! The lemonade had cinnamon and rosemary, giving a really delicious and complex flavour. The cheesecake was black with bamboo charcoal and topped with what seemed to be shaved parmesan. It might sound strange, but I actually really liked it! Proprietor was lovely and welcoming despite our limited...

Thanks to the sweet and kind owner, we had a pleasant meal. We had pizza, two kinds of pasta, and yaki soba, and all the good reviews turned out to be true. They were very delicious and sincere dishes.
