Made to wait over 15 mins even though we could see empty tables from outside. Poor explanations of how to use their self-cooking shabu style. New staff had a pompous body language and face attitude laying dishes on the low table from a standing position, which is rude and condescending. He also.positioned himself too close to me making it hard to take off my shoes and enter the raised tatami area. His overall demeanor shows that he wasn't trained well or just has a bad attitude. The food, for it's mediocre quality and amount, is well overpriced. Taste on par with the much cheaper, all you can eat Shabuyo chain restaurant. Rice is NOT included. Strange use of leftover soup by adding ramen noodles ... Definitely not a good way to enjoy ramen ... Just serve with rice free please. The two other young staffers were much...

Had the best kurobuta tonkatsu I’ve ever eaten. The thick cut was seriously thick, super tender and juicy inside, and really crispy outside.

Also tried the Kuroushi & Kurobuta Shabu Shabu set — big portions and a great way to try both of Kagoshima’s famous meats at once.

You have to try the deep-fried soft boiled egg too — crispy outside, perfectly runny inside.

Awesome spot overall. Definitely recommend if you want to taste some amazing Kagoshima meats...

The best service and food I have eaten in all of Kagoshima. I have a gluten allergy and the staff and chef went out of their way to cater to me, even using translation apps to ensure I could eat all ingredients. DELICIOUS main meals and side dishes, you could taste the fresh ingredients, tender and perfectly cooked meat, so flavoursome even without dipping it in sauce. Friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful atmosphere and incredibly reasonable pricing. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone passing through (or living in) Kagoshima, I will...
