I had the Uji matcha Slow-cooked Chicken broth Ramen (1200 Yen). In large size (+100 Yen).
While waiting outside, you can read the menu. You can ask for the English menu as well. Mostly, they ask you if you need the translated one. If you have questions about the menu, feel free to ask them. Their English is very good.
When you are inside, the food takes some time (~10-15 min). But if you see it you know why, it is like a high-quality restaurant, also served like this.
The chicken broth is really delicious, mixed with the fruits it really has a unique taste. The noodles were really good, BUT they were partly like glued together, which made eating a bit difficult. The other not so good thing is that you don't get a water refill unless you ask the busy waiter.

Read moreI don't know that I've had much chicken based broth in Soba or Ramen, but it never much appealed to me. The broth here was an explosion of flavor, rich, creamy, savory, slightly salty, with a strong note of chicken and (because the flavor I chose) mild truffle. It sung on my tongue in a beautiful symphony of flavor. Adding the ginger and onion straws in the middle morphed the taste into a slightly tangy slurp that played well with the strong flavor is the truffle.
The noodles were a thin-medium size but tender and cooked to perfection. I loved the veggies on top and when drowned in the broth they took on a wonderful accompanying flavor to the rich broth.

Their Ramen is simply excellent.
I had their most popular chicken broth ramen. It's a thick soup, with a heavy and scrumptious taste. The ramen was perfect in temperature and hardness, and was just outstanding.
They call their ramen "soba" - which is supposed to be thinner than typical ramen.
You can add different spices to your bowl as you go along, dramatically changing the flavor of the whole bowl and making your ramen experience even more amazing.
Awesome all around. One of the rare times i finished the whole bowl down to the last drop...
