I was looking for a place to eat and rest while i wait till my hotel check in time. I entered the store around 2pm and they allowed me to enter with my luggage as the store is not packed. The food is tasty and staff are super friendly. There is no english menu but no worries on that when you have google translate to help you. It is very near the end of the Komachi-dori street which is also near the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine. ♥️

I never really like soba but wow, it was delicious! Ordered the vegetable tempura set. The crunchy and flavourful yet non-greasy tempura was a nice complement to the soba. The cold tea offered was very soothing and cooling and paired well with the food served. Toilet was super clean and tidy. Surprisingly cooling like a cave as well. Great restaurant especially on a hot summer day!

When we went there we had to wait a little. This wasn’t a problem at all. That got us thinking that this place would he good. My family of four 4 visited, and we only ordered three meals which was more than enough for us. The portions are quite reasonable for the price. The food is amazing. I really liked the tempura and rice mixture. The soba was great too.

Questo ristorante, situato nel cuore di Kamakura, offre un’esperienza autentica e sorprendente. Ho avuto il piacere di provare per la prima volta la soba fredda, servita da intingere in un brodo ricco e saporito. Un piatto che si è rivelato particolarmente rinfrescante e perfetto per combattere il caldo afoso. Ogni boccone era un’esplosione di sapori ben bilanciati. Ottimi fritti di accompagnamento. Croccanti e leggeri, sia le verdure che il pesce erano cotti alla perfezione. Il menù era disponibile anche in inglese e il ristorante accetta carte di credito. Lo consiglio vivamente per una pausa pranzo di qualità, all’insegna di sapori autentici.

the food was very yummy! and the staff were super nice :D they were very attentive to us, since we weren't able to translate the menu. we ate here after going to tsurugaoka hachimangu shrine!

鶴岡八幡宮前と小町通りの出入口を繋ぐ道(横大路)にあるお店。お店の前は何度も通った事がありますが、初めて入りました。 ｢日本橋からり｣というチェーン店のうちの一つらしい。天ぷら専門店ということのようです。 ホームページには「鎌倉からり店 は別メニューとなります」とありまして、 天ぷらそば (海老1尾、穴子1、野菜の天ぷらとお蕎麦のセット) 税込 1650円 を頂きました。天ぷらは揚げたてでサクサク、お蕎麦も美味しかった。 烏賊やキス等の天ぷら単品もあり、美味しそうなので注文しようか迷ったのですが、セットだけでお腹いっぱいになったので止めました。セットも単品もリーズナブルな価格なのではないでしょうか。蕎麦湯を貰う事もできます。 午後2時頃と混雑のピーク時間を過ぎていたので、店内は比較的空いていました。1階はカウンター席が10席程度、大人6人掛けのテーブルが一つと少し窮屈。2階にも席があるようですが、ピーク時間外だったため、クローズしていたようです。 不満な点は軽くスイーツが食べたいと思ったのですが、ソフトドリンク以外メニューになかった事。アイスクリームやシャーベット等、食後に軽く食べられるスイーツもあれば良いと思います。 2023年11月 再訪 ぜいたく天ざる 税込 1780円 をいただきました。
