This is such a wonderful spot! I’d highly recommend if you’re visiting Kanazawa. It’s tucked away from the main shopping area but we stopped in because the bar owners also ran the guesthouse where we were staying. The owners speak English very well and we ended up spending almost 3 hours chatting with them. The wife also speaks a bit Korean and she’s learning Cantonese so anyone could enjoy a visit here! There were others visiting the bar from Japan and South Korea the night we were there.

The food is amazing (definitely have the karaage and the edamame) and the draft beers are so fresh! They love music and celebrate it with their patrons. The locals there have a great time and everyone was very welcoming. They also have a comprehensive vinyl collection with a wide range of sweet music. If you are in Kanazawa definitely go here for a night! Thank you for...

Unfortunately we missed the live music, and it was quiet due to the heavy rain. However the bar played excellent recorded music and enjoyed talking to the owner at the bar which created a lovely atmosphere which was relaxed and informal.
There is a great whisky selection and lots of other spirits available and draft or bottled beer. Would recommend this bar for visitors to the area.
