Warm fresh flat bread, mascarpone and honey is the best combination in town!

Ordered the following for two people: Starter: flat bread, mascarpone and honey Main: US beef skirt (Small size) Main: Spicy beef pasta (Medium size) Side: Fried potatoes (Large size) Side: Some sort of salad (Small size) Dessert: flat bread, mascarpone and honey

This was the highlight of my time while visiting Kanazawa. The food was the best Italian food during my 2 month trip and I will be trying to recreate the flat bread, mascarpone/honey starter at home. Excellent presentation on the main dishes.

Chef must be very talented and the waiter was patient while taking our order when we didn’t speak Japanese, would recommend both these people highly. Excellent vibe inside and can watch the world go by if you get a window seat. They very kindly split all our dishes so we could share if we wanted as well.

No English menus so you’ll need to take Google translate but this was not an issue, we were given ample time to look at what we wanted. They set expectations well when you enter that there’s only one person in the kitchen so everything comes out at...

This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem—tucked away up a narrow stairwell on the second floor, it feels like you’ve discovered a secret. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance is captivating: quiet, slightly dark, and effortlessly romantic. It’s the perfect setting for a special evening or a slow, intimate meal.

The wine selection is excellent, with a thoughtful range of options to pair with each course. The pasta is truly exquisite—made with care, rich in flavor, and beautifully plated. If I had one small wish, it’s that the portions were just a bit larger. That said, every bite is worth savoring. The desserts are also a highlight—more like edible works of art than simple sweets.

There are no English menus, so be ready to either translate on your phone or go with the flow. The staff are kind and patient, but some basic Japanese (or adventurous spirit) will go a long way. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality, service, and overall experience make it well worth it.

If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic spot with exceptional Italian cuisine in an unexpected location, this place is absolutely...

Fantastic Italian style pizza with great toppings and a nice selection of wines. Super friendly service too! I went there late a couple of days ago, hungry and desperate for food, and they said they only have pizza at this hour. Well, I had been dreaming of pizza earlier that day so it was absolutely perfect for me!

I hope to return here someday and enjoy another late night...

Was a bit shocked of the small portions. The pizza was a bit watered down, the mandatory appeitizer was decent, and the pasta was very good. Unfortunately I finished it in 5 bites for 1600 yen or so. Not sure if this was worth it. Spent 4k to 5k yen and was not full, and I am a skinny person , 5'10, 140lbs. Highball dewar was okay
