Very cute and intimate cafe located on the steps to Jizodo. Seats up to 8, and the owner does everything in the place (waitstaff, mealprep, drinks) so make sure you go when you’re not in a hurry. The service was excellent, and you get a whole meal set for ¥800, with a bonus of fruit and dried persimmon. Great coffee. A hidden gem, would come again!

Dieses Café habe ich durch Zufall entdeckt, als ich die Straßen des Higashi Chaya Districtes erkundete. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Im Hintergrund läuft schöne Jazz musik. Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr lecker! Wer Pudding mag, muss unbedingt den "Custard Pudding" probieren. Da der Inhaber alles in mühevoller und liebevoller Handarbeit macht, sollte man es nicht eilig haben. Hier kann man wunderbar abschalten. On top gab es noch einen Gruß aus der Küche in Form vom Obst. Sehr tolle Geste! Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Kanazawa werde ich definitiv wiederkommen.

Love this place! Such a cool relaxed vibe, nice jazz music in the background, small but perfectly formed.

Menu is a small selection of yōshoku but lovingly prepared. A bit of a hidden gem as its not on the main thoroughfare of Higashi Chaya, but well worth the short walk up the road!

We'll be back again on our next visit...
