We chanced upon this small restaurant (Trattoria Tamaya) after our visit to Kenroku-en enroute to our hotel, and managed to have a dinner for two on a quiet Monday night without reservation. Only the husband was working that night and service from him was great in spite of us not speaking any Japanese. We used google translate (see attached the English-translated menu) in addition to his explanation, so the ordering was done seamlessly. He also highlighted clearly that the restaurant accepts cash only. We recommend this cosy restaurant if you would like a quiet place with decent food for dinner.

Trgovine i lanci trgovina su osjetljivi. Tražite od hotela i idite u obližnji talijanski restoran. Zbog utjecaja Corone, otvoren je za kratko vrijeme. Osim toga, nikad nisam došao u dućan bez kupaca. Odgovorio nam je ljubazni voditelj trgovine. Na istom mjestu djeluje već 25 godina. Osjećao sam ogromnu težinu. Hrana je bila ukusna uz korištenje sezonskih jela. Mislim da želim ići opet.
