We chanced upon this small restaurant (Trattoria Tamaya) after our visit to Kenroku-en enroute to our hotel, and managed to have a dinner for two on a quiet Monday night without reservation.

Only the husband was working that night and service from him was great in spite of us not speaking any Japanese. We used google translate (see attached the English-translated menu) in addition to his explanation, so the ordering was done seamlessly. He also highlighted clearly that the restaurant accepts cash only. We recommend this cosy restaurant if you would like a quiet place with decent...

出張で1ヶ月間金沢へ。コンビニやチェーン店は味気ないと感じ、ホテルから検索して近くのイタリアンへ。コロナの影響で時短営業。さらにお客様もいない中で意を決して来店。１歩踏み出してよかったと感じるくらい気さくな店舗責任者の方に対応していただきました。東京で修行し25年同じ場所で運営しているとのこと。とてつもなく重みを感じました。料理は旬のものを使用して美味しくいただきました。デザートも種類が豊富でした。また、行きたいと思います。 Kanazawa na poslovnom putu. Trgovine i lanci trgovina su osjetljivi. Tražite od hotela i idite u obližnji talijanski restoran. Zbog utjecaja Corone, otvoren je za kratko vrijeme. Osim toga, nikad nisam došao u dućan bez kupaca. Odgovorio nam je ljubazni voditelj trgovine. Na istom mjestu djeluje već 25 godina. Osjećao sam ogromnu težinu. Hrana je bila ukusna uz korištenje sezonskih jela. Mislim da želim ići opet.
