I'm an English-speaking local guide here in Kanazawa. Mister Donut is the largest donut franchise chain in Japan, and they have lots of donuts on display. Also, they offer free refills on hot coffee and cafe au lait. You order the donuts on the 1st floor and if the seats are full on the 1st floor, the shop also has around 30 seats on the 2nd and 3rd floor respectively.

It has 3 floors so enough seating. The refillable brewed coffee is my favorite (along with their pon de rings), and if its not a busy day (e.g. weekends) you can stay for a while. So... good for studying, or hanging out with a friend. Close to korinbo means close to many bus stops.

This Mister Donut was on my way home as I a took a bus back to Kanazawa station. The staff was polite and the donuts tasted freshly made. The only drawback is I wish I could’ve tried more variety. I still don’t think I’ve had their famous crème brûlée donut yet. Maybe next time.

Order your drink to stay and you will get a free coffee or milk tea refill upstairs! We had 4 donuts; my favorite was the double chocolate ring donut (it's western style). I wasn't a fan of the "pon" style they make here. It's chewy, which a weird donut texture to my Canadian taste buds. The flavors are...
