The restaurant is now on my list of regular places to eat out. It's in a gorgeous space (a renovated Japanese townhouse with most of its original features preserved). The green curry pho (with additional pork topping) was amazing, spicy, and so flavorful! (If you plan to have dessert, do what I did and order dessert BEFORE you get your main dish(es) because the desserts are lovely but with very delicate flavors and are probably best enjoyed with a clean palette.) The organic white wine paired perfectly with the green curry. I also had the spring rolls (made with fresh Thai basil -- a rarity in Kanazawa) and I'm ruined for all other "harumaki" now. The staff are very nice and may not speak much English, so bring your translation app or look up some yes/no questions or compliments in Japanese beforehand. Read moreI tried this place because of its high rating on Google Maps, but I was quite disappointed. I’m not sure how it received such a high score.
If you have kids, it’s better not to go. It’s hard to tell who the staff are, since they wear regular clothes. You’re required to order one drink per person at dinner, which is fine — but even though we ordered two drinks for ourselves, they didn’t provide any water for our kids. The pho was just okay. I’ve had better pho at several places in Japan. Considering the price, I found it quite expensive. We ordered two bowls of pho and waited over 30 minutes. When they finally arrived, there were no utensils, so I had to ask for them. I also had to ask again for kids’ utensils separately.
I found the service to be quite poor, and the wait for food was surprisingly long.

Read moreWe had a disappointing experience here. We ordered chicken pho, vegan pho, and falafel. My wife eats vegan and I eat regular food. The menu clearly stated that the falafel was vegan, so it was very disappointing that it arrived topped with mayonnaise, which is not vegan and even if it is, it need to be mention that it cover the dish. As for the pho itself: the vegan pho tasted like plain water, and the chicken pho was extremely bland with a very stingy amount of chicken. On top of that we were still forced to order drinks we didn’t want.why force us even after we ordered 2 dishes? Isn’t that enough?
The only positive point was that the prices were cheap, but overall the food was poor, the flavors were lacking, and the whole experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend this place.the service was...
