Steak Katase — Restaurant in Kanazawa

Fantastic experience and meal at this restaurant. We enjoyed the "Sakura Premium course" and enjoyed everything from salmon and cuttlefish (definitely outside our usual comfort zone but absolutely delectable) to the main course, a delicious beef tenderloin. The showmanship was professional and entertaining without being overly flashy or extravagant. We speak English primarily, but speak a little Japanese which was noticeably appreciated and definitely enhanced our experience with the chefs. Definitely not a requirement, but just something to note. We would return in a heartbeat on our next visit...

We were on our way back to Osaka from Shirakawa when we found this restaurant near Kanazawa station on Google Maps - this was a great find! Number 1 on Trip Advisor in Kanazawa for a reason. This place was incredible! The staff was amazing, both chefs made an active and successful attempt to speak English and get to know us. The food was prepared infront of you. Great wine selection. Got the 3 course with veggies meal and the steak absolutely melted in your mouth with the cuttlefish and Oysters being so flavorful!
