Miami Villa Kyukaruizawa — Restaurant in Karuizawa

A quirky and quaint Italian eatery. We chose this shop because it was the only place with accessible parking that was open on a Saturday night to those without reservations but was pleasantly surprised. As mentioned by other reviewers, this shop is pretty much single handedly run by one man who does both the cooking and the service. You’re not getting world class service here and everything isn’t going to come out immediately, but it’s to be expected by a shop run by one person. They also happened to be sold out of a lot of stuff on a weekend dinner, which was odd. The shop feels a little dated and grimy, paired with the lack of staff, but surprisingly the food was really good. The tomato pasta was a little on the spicy side for me, but the salmon cream pasta was lovely. The pizza base is the stand out, it’s truly unique - with a flaky pie crust like quality which still being chewy but crispy. I highly recommend the cream chicken and pork pizza (8), it was absolutely delicious, like a cream soup on a pizza base. The price point is also ok, around 2000-3000 for a pasta or pizza. 先ず、味は間違いありません！ 自分は単品のカルボナーラを注文。 チーズの濃さと、それに負けないベーコンの味。クリームがパスタに絡んで服に跳ねなかったのも良かったです！

【もっと良くした方がよい点】 ・グランドメニューに【単品でのご注文は平打ちパスタです、スパゲッティに変更できます。】と書いてあったため、平打ちのパスタを期待して、ランチメニューでなくて単品で注文したのにも関わらず、何も言わずにスパゲティで提供された。提供直後に聞いたところ、【平打ちは只今切らしておりまして…】との事でした。であるならば初めに記載もしくは口頭で説明があった方が良かったと思う。まぁ、味は文句なく、しっかりパスタに絡んでいて美味しかった。 ・ピザの提供がとにかく遅かった。同時に注文、しかもランチメニューのカマンベールがのピザ。パスタが提供されてから結構な時間が経ってからのピザ。腹ペコでとても美味しいパスタを、危うく完食するところでした。しかし、ここのピザはオーブンで焼いていて、生地はレギュラーなのに軽くて下面はパリッと。当然ソースや具も最高に美味いので、一度は食べるべき！クオリティを落とさずに提供スピードが上がればこの席数では確実に足りないくらいの大盛況となるのでは！

名古屋のエスカにも系列のワインバーマイアミパティオがあるので行ってみたいと思います。
