The food here was wonderful. As diamond members we were treated to a "lounge" experience served by Mrs. Takahashi. She was very helpful and made some wonderful drinks for us as well as a snack platter. Afterwards we moved to the next room for dinner and tried the two versions of their burger. 旧軽井沢KIKYOキュリオヒルトンのメインダイニング。ディナーコースのみでの営業(ちなみにカジュアルなダイニング「ア・ターブル」の方は、昼間も営業でアラカルトもある)。軽井沢では離れ一軒家的なお店が好まれるそうですが、その概念を払拭するお店でした。

フレンチではなく、ほとんどが信州と隣接県の食材という料理。テーブル担当の方にお聞きすると、創作料理ですとのこと。 お料理は繊細だけれどダイナミック。どこでこの食材探して来るのか珍しいものも上手く使われている。万人受けする無難な料理ではないかもしれないが、密度の濃い2時間のお食事タイムでした。シェフの石井さんはパティシエを経験し、スペインで修行された方だそうです。 自分の中で、こちら星6つです。また行こういう気になります。
