The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with industrial vibes that are on par with an average burger joint in Seattle. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t justify the prices. We were disappointed with several aspects of our visit. We wiped down with table with wet wipes, leaving behind black residue. The service was lacking from the start; we had to flag the staff down not only to refill our water glasses but also to take our order and bring ketchup for the potato wedges. Ketchup was given to just two people, while the other five who ordered them were left without. The Kobe beef diced steak was tough and difficult to chew, requiring me to cut it into very small bites. The kids’ chicken and rice dish was drenched in an overly salty sauce. Despite drinking two waters and half a lemonade, our 5-year-old was still thirsty. To top it off, they made an error on the bill, attempting to charge us for a larger item we didn’t order or receive.
On the positive side, the kids' meals were reasonably priced, and the flavors were generally on point, particularly the dipping sauce for the beef and the burgers. However, for our April 2025 visit, be prepared to pay a hefty price, as the Kobe beef double cheeseburger meal ran us...
Read moreThis was my favorite steak restaurant, but not anymore. The reason are simple, the way they serve the steaks changed. If you are looking for some good grilled beef, DO NOT GO HERE. the meat they bring to you are not even grilled, it look more boiled under vacuum or something .Taste like anything, completely bland. The consistency is grainy like boiled frozen food. Not tender not juicy, even with a fry pan you can make a better steak. They just bring a boiled outside and raw inside steak to you with a hot iron disk, why? To cook the meat on my own? take me to the kitchen and let me use the grill or a frickin fry pan then. I AM HERE TO EAT STEAK NOT SOME KOREAN BBQ. I don't know if it's because they changed the management, I don't know if it's to save the cost and frankly I don't care. If your restaurant can't serve a normal steak then just STOP DOING IT. I literally fell like I was flushing my money in the toilet today. My last time eating here, so...
Read moreI had the mini burger trio set. Firstly, the chips are perfect. The texture is crispy on the outside and are salted just right.
The big win here for me is for the bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is not the thin slices of ham that Japan usually tries to pass off as bacon. This is cured, aged, smokey, and thick. The real deal.
There is something rare about the burgers here, not just for Japan, but anywhere I've had burgers; The buns have character, and play a big role in the burger. They seem to be whole grain, and are firm despite being toasted to perfection on top. I can tell that this type of bun isn't going to be for everyone, but I loved it.
The atmosphere mirrors that of an American gastro pub. It's clean, spacious and comfortable. The employees are cheerful, fast, and helpful. I had a great experience.
If you're in the area, don't miss your...
