Found this gem of a restaurant via Google, based on distance and ratings. It’s only a 3-5min walk away from Kobe Station. Luckily was able to get seated without reservation this time (though highly recommended!) My wife and I previously have had a set meal for $100 USD each, and we disappointingly received only a small ~6 ounce amount of Kobe beef each (albeit the best we’ve ever had)! This restaurant is a grill-it-yourself style, and as long as you take care to not overcook your beef, it is an excellent value! Spent about the same ~$75 USD per person, but with multiple more selection of meats, side dishes, and desserts. Just take a look at the pics! They use a QR code based web-app that lets you order and it has English translation. One recommendation to to look for the “Insort” (poor translation?) category for combo plate of recommended quality meats!
