The review reflects my personal experience and honest opinion. It's available on both Google and Instagram.
I had been on the hunt for a great burger joint, and after reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a try, I'm so glad I did!
We arrived 10 minutes early, and people were already lining up, which was a good sign of how popular their burgers are.
The customer service was friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the J.B.B., and my partner ordered the Double Double. Wow, my meat patty was incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and melted in my mouth. The bacon was perfectly cooked (just how I like it), and the jalapeños and cheese made a delicious addition. The sauce was divine, it had a seafood style flavor that complemented everything perfectly. The bun was light, soft, and not too heavy; I really liked their choice of bun.
The fries were fantastic, too, I loved that they left the skin on, and they were cooked to perfection.
I also enjoyed the music playing (The Offspring); it added to the place's laid back, relaxed vibe.
Overall, it was a solid burger at a decent price, and I would definitely come back.

Read moreHyoe’s Burgers & Fries isn’t just a burger joint—it’s a pilgrimage site for the beef-obsessed. I flew all the way from Australia just to sink my teeth into one of these beauties, and let me tell you, it was worth every mile (and every cramped airplane seat).
This place is unapologetic indulgence in burger form. If you’re after a classic cheeseburger that’s done with steak-like perfection, you’ll leave grinning. The Double Double is exactly what it sounds like: double the meat, double the cheese, and double the justification for wearing stretchy pants. Juicy, steak-like patties sandwiched in a house-baked bun—it’s the kind of burger that makes you forget jet lag even exists. But if you’re feeling adventurous, the Hawaiian Isobe (yes, pineapple and seaweed actually work together) or the Gorgonzola Honey Cheese (sticky, salty, sweet chaos in a bun) will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about burgers.
Even when it’s packed and burgers are flying out at lightning speed, the quality stays spot-on. Hyoe’s has firmly earned its spot as a Kobe must-visit.
Final verdict: I didn’t cross an ocean for nothing. These burgers are the real deal—big, bold, and totally...
Read moreYet another home-run for Kobe, a city with more food perfection than seems possible! Burgers @ Hyoe's are fantastic and as good as any I ate in Tokyo (cheaper than Tokyo prices too). Meat was chunky, fresh, well-seasoned, & cooked to perfection. Buns seemed order made and were perfect. They even added the cheese and cooked it until just crispy enough. Well done!! You'll get more fries than most other places and they're pretty good too. The line outside moves quickly and though it seems small inside (from the outside), you'll find it spacious enough to enjoy your meal, as well as quite clean. Staff were friendly & attentive as well. Keep up the great work!!
Edit: I have lowered my score to 4 stars due to the policy requiring a drink purchase. I feel it’s become expensive.
Edit #2: I have once more raised my rating to 5 stars, as per the restaurant reply to my review, they have ended the one...
