Nishimura Coffee — Restaurant in Kobe

Read good reviews of this place, went there for coffee and realized lotsa tourist too. Its good for some picture taking instagram worthy place due to its history, but for a coffee lover we thought the coffee tasted meh and too acidic for our liking. Plus, its pretty expensive for coffee of this grade. One cup of black coffee (Nishimura blend) costs around 600yen.

The atmosphere is the only magnet. Noshimura's has an authentic 1950's interior but their coffee is unfortunaly a disappointment. I tried their strong coffee and Noshimura blend. Both were acceptable, but nothing justifiable for that price range. Someone pays only for the environment. The service is very attentive and respectful, their cakes are delicious. The ambience in this place was so nice! It was packed and I had a lovely time. I ordered the breakfast set that came with an egg sando , a ham sando & a salad! It came with a hot coffee. The coffee was dark and rich and went well with the breakfast served. The staff was super nice and patient and had pleasant smiles all around.
