Watahan — Restaurant in Kobe

This was an incredibly local Japanese experience - incredible and exceptional. As a foreigner, you probably couldn’t find it easily as you’ll need to spot a few kanji words and head downstairs into an awesome authentic world of traditional, old-skool, very cosy and genuine Japanese style experience. The service was exceptionally welcoming, the Asahi on tap was crisp, refreshing and delightfully cold - 6 ordered as a result for just me. The entire course of food was incredible, very well priced and a true initial experience of what Kobe beef offers! The photos do all the talking… I need not say anymore…...

First the hours are incorrect, we came here for lunch and it said it was open on google maps but it was closed. We came back for dinner and it worked. We came here by recommendation of a friend and we left extremely happy. The meat they serve is quite delicious, and the atmosphere of the place is on point.
