Maybe the first Italian restaurant in Kochi, run by the same family for 50(?) years. Had my first meal there in 1992. Decent food at a reasonable price. Get the seafood salad. The vibe is a trip. If you’re looking for American-style pizza, ok, maybe this is this is not the place. But if you’re looking for old-school Japanese Italian (yes, it’s a thing), Amigo will be your friend, too....

Non-English nor Italiian speaking staff though claiming to be an Italian Restaurant.

Heavily seasoned food (salad, steak, and spaghetti are all too salty) which seems to be welcomed by the local folks, but not what one may expect from Italian...

結婚祝いに訪れました(^-^) 駐車場は、お店から向かって斜め右にある小スペースで、奥から詰めて駐車して下さいとのこと。後ろに止められるとほぼ確実に出られないであろう駐車場です(^^; 近くにコインパーキングとかもあるので、嫌な方はそちらに止めた方がいいかもしれません。 お昼に行ったので1300円ぐらいのスペシャルランチとミックスピザを注文。 メニューはかなり豊富で、ランチには鮮魚のカルパッチョなどもあり、リーズナブルに食べられる本格的なイタリアンレストランでした♪ ポタージュはほんのりスパイシーな感じで、今までポタージュとしては食べたことのないお味。 エビフライはさくさくで美味しく、ハンバーグもお肉って感じで、他の洋食屋とはひと味違うお味。美味しかったです♪ ミックスピザは、生地も美味しく、上にのっているハムも本格的なお味で美味しかったです♪ ご飯を食べたあと、結婚祝いにと前もって一緒に行った方が注文していてくれたらしく、ロウソクをたてた桃のアイスが出てきました♪(本当は誕生日祝いでお出ししているそうですが、希望を聞いてくださったそうです) 果実を感じさせる、ちゃんとした桃のアイスで、バルサミコソースが傍らにあり、かけると桃の味が梅に変わりますと言われ試してみました(^-^) 確かに梅のような味に変わり、楽しかったです♪ 豊富なメニューだったので、また行って他のお味にも挑戦してみたいと思います♪
