Amigo — Restaurant in Kochi

Maybe the first Italian restaurant in Kochi, run by the same family for 50(?) years. Had my first meal there in 1992. Decent food at a reasonable price. Get the seafood salad. The vibe is a trip. If you’re looking for American-style pizza, ok, maybe this is this is not the place. But if you’re looking for old-school Japanese Italian (yes, it’s a thing), Amigo will be your friend, too....

Reasonable Japanese-style Italian restaurant/take-away. As is normal in Japan, pizza was very small for the price. I also paid delivery price even though I came and picked it up myself. Pizza itself was ok, but the tomatoes were a bit tasteless and the crust was fluffy but not very crispy on...

Non-English nor Italiian speaking staff though claiming to be an Italian Restaurant.

Heavily seasoned food (salad, steak, and spaghetti are all too salty) which seems to be welcomed by the local folks, but not what one may expect from Italian...
