Everything I tried was delicious. I came here for the boushipan, and it didn’t disappoint. The texture was lovely, fluffy inside the hat, and the hat rim was like a soft cookie. I bought their other items for to go. I also love the rusk, boushipan rusk, apple pie and chocolate chip cookies (bite-sized ones). I hope I can visit Kochi again and return here to have a cup of cafe au lait...

高知市永国寺町「永野旭堂リンベル」

高知市のパン屋といえば、ここに 行かずして帰れません! 今や全国区で名の知れたぼうしパンの 発祥のお店です。 元々は、メロンパンを作ろうとして 代わりにカステラ生地を 乗せて焼き上げた ことから生まれたというぼうしパン。 偶然の産物が今やロングセラー。

店頭には、やはりぼうしパンが メインで売り出されていますね(^o^) 味わい溢れる昭和感漂う包装が またオシャレ。

ぼうしパンの生みの店 「リンベル」には、 実は他にも昔からのファンの心を掴んで 離さない商品が他にもございます。 それがコンビ、ニコニコパン、 チョコメロン。

コンビは、塩味のデニッシュに ココアカステラ生地が 包まれている商品。

ニコニコパンは、黒糖パンに シュガーマーガリンを挟んだ商品。

チョコメロンは、 チョコクリームを挟んだコッペパンに チョコ味のクッキー生地を 被せて焼き上げた商品です。

どれも懐かしい感じの顔ぶれですね。 （私が生まれてすらもいない時代の 話にはなりますが(^_^;)）

色々試したい気持ちはありますが、 今回は計3つの懐かしパンを購入。

ニコニコパンを食べていたら、クリームの中から茶髪の長い女性のものと思われる髪の毛が2本出てきた。当方短髪なので、確実に自分のものではない。テイクアウトしてホテルで食べていたので、伝えることもできず。

レトロな昔ながらの雰囲気が良さだと思うが、だからと言って衛生面が疎かにされるべきでない。いちいち断面を見ながら食べていたわけではないので、既に口に入れたタイミングで気づき、じゃりじゃりのクリームの中からモゴモゴした2本の毛、、気持ち悪すぎる。

サンドイッチなどの生ものもあったが大丈夫なのだろうか。一緒に買ったぼうしパンも食べずに捨てた、もう二度と行かない。
