We stumbled on this place by accident. We ordered the evening set menu with 5 courses or 8 as it turned out. The lady that served us was very friendly and helpful and good fun. The food was superb. Each dish was a tailored piece of magic. Sauces were subtle but complemented each dish well. Presentation top class. French cuisine with Japanese influence. We were misled by the mostly positive reviews which we don't share. To clarify things, this place does not despite its name 'whale's tail' serve any whale, nor does there anyone speak a single word of French (apart from some costumers perhaps), nor of any other European language. We were not offered an English menu. The portions were minuscule. When you are really hungry go elsewhere. The food bordered to the insipid. Payment...

コースランチを頂きました。1700円と破格！

1品目のサーモンのサラダから非常にテンションが上がりました。サラダでこんなに満足したことってないかも。サラダのソースはゴマどれと、パセリ＆ガーリックのオリーブオイルソース。ドレッシングの量、丁度よかったです。

スープもまるで海老のだし使ってるんじゃないかってくらい深い味わい。実際は野菜と鶏ガラのお出汁みたいです。野菜は煮溶けるほどクタクタに煮込んでいて、ピーマン特有の苦味が感じられず感動しました。

3品目の白身魚のお料理も、トマトソースと洋風な味付けに対してなすの揚げ浸しを付け合わせてあって洋と和の素敵なコラボレーションでした。写って無いのですが、ポテトクリームも添えられていて、クリームチーズか生クリーム使ってるなと思ってお店の方に伺ったところ、牛乳で煮ただけとの事。おったまげました。

4品目のお好み焼きはタコが入っていて、たこ焼きを食べてるような感じでもありました。

デザートはとても濃厚なクリームブリュレ。スプーンですくってもダレない、真の濃厚でした。めちゃめちゃ美味しかったです。
