Quon Chocolate — Restaurant in Kumamoto

I was so happy when I found out that there was a chocolate shop near my hotel. I went here on the last day of my trip but it was a bit hard to find. The inside of the store was small and the products were displayed attractively. I bought terrines and the best ice cream. I was able to try samples of terrines, which I think was the best part of my shopping experience. There were so many flavors to choose from. They also have special regional terrine. The ice cream was delicious. I ordered supreme matcha with supreme milk chocolate. I really liked it. I will try the other flavors someday.

A cozy chocolate store in Kumamoto. It was a bit difficult to find but really worth the visit. They have a lot of different types of sweets to offer. They even have Iced Pops and Chocolate drinks. Very friendly staffs too. They even have testers if you can't decide what chocolate flavors to buy. I especially loved the Bitter Chocolate Drink with Mint Ice Cream. 上通り~水道町の神社の通りにあります。ビルの1階ですが、結構狭いです。５～６人も入ると選ぶのにも気を使います。

肝心のチョコですが、質の高さやこだわりは十分に感じられます。なかなか説明は難しく、チョコレート好きの方は実際に見てもらう方が良いかもです。

ただ、普通の森永やグリコ、ロッテや明治などの菓子メーカーのチョコレートに馴染んでいる方には物足りなく、そしてお高く感じられるかもしれません。この点はパンと同じですね。無難なパンはスーパーで買う。こだわる方は本格パン屋さんでと言う感じ。

個人的には、もはや量は食べないので、このチョコレートが作られた過程でも想像しながらコーヒーと一緒に一息つきながらささやかな愉しい時間を過ごすという逸品です。

一言あるとすれば、商品の展示の仕方を工夫された方が良いのかなと思いました。ちょっと店内が無機質に思えましたので、もう少しチョコのワクワク感を...
