Yugawa Terrasse Hotel & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kusatsu

One of the staff there was extremely unfriendly towards foreigners and unhelpful. I will NOT recommend staying there.

We are told that breakfast is from 8-9am. But when we come down to the restaurant at 8.30am, the staff just ignored me (not greeting us) and even scolded me for being late. That’s Interesting!

When i explained that the other staff told me it’s okay to have breakfast from 8-9, She just refused and indicate that I am lying. (Say they haven’t said so— “そう言ってない”) That’s very interesting. Are you saying I lied for a breakfast??

And then they just served me the food already put on the table (which already cold).

What a bad experience, I hope everyone not facing such kind of issue.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but me and my partner ate at the restaurant - 10/10 would recommend this restaurant and the histumabushi egg with 3 kind meat & the unagi with ikura histumabushi. This review is of the restaurant which was simply lovely. The restaurant has indoor seating but also has a pocket park across the way if you want to eat outside. You can also enjoy light refreshments while soaking your feet in the footbath outside, which was an absolute delight.
