Chiyono-yu — Attraction in Kusatsu

In the span of 1 days, I visited 6 different onsens in Kusatsu and this was my favourite! If you are expecting a whole onsen experience with a cafeteria and tatami on the side, this onsen may not be for you - but if you are purely looking for something simple like just quality water in great temperature, this will be for you ^_^ It was highly recommended by the hotel staff and did not disappoint.

Free and basic. There are toilets next to the Onsen which I liked. Water if kind of hot so wshs yourself with the receipint provided to get use to it before going in.

I was alone when I went there and I stood around 15 minutes before someone came. The water is taking a toll on the body so around 10 to 15 minutes is enough.
