This manga-bedecked traditional kissaten doesn't welcome foreigners: it welcomes locals, and when you enter, you become a local. The host is gentle but firm, the bench-warming gentlemen are prickly but jolly. Be polite, be respectful, and enjoy a slice of regional Japan, not diluted for foreigner tastes.
The best you can work out from the menu are the categories: curry, pasta, noodles, "piraf" or fried rice, and "lunch", Bento boxes of various cuisines.

The food is delicious, cheap, and served in large portions. I ordered the vegetable stir-fry set meal. As an adult male, I ate until I was full. There are plenty of comics and comfortable music playing, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The owner is also very nice. They offer healthy vegetarian dishes(not vegan)
