Our experience was not congruent with the 4.8 star average rating of this restaurant. We did not have a problem getting a table, however the service from the time we sat down was slow, inept, seemingly incapable, albeit friendly. Once we placed our order (which was in advance of other tables) we had to ask for our drink (we ordered one beer) as it was forgotten by the server, 1 of 2 appetizers was brought multiple times to the table (cold, slimy edamame) and the other appetizer brought was wrong altogether. Additionally, the sushi we ordered (the pre-set 9-piece plate) was served 90 minutes after being ordered (we were the last table to actually get our sushi as the restaurant was closing). The quality of the sushi was high-end of average but the portions were relatively meagre and certainly overpriced. I don’t typically take the time to write reviews online but it seems ridiculous to me that this restaurant has so many positive reviews. Save your time and money for an establishment that provides a much better...

It is a small restaurant (we didn’t have an issue getting a seat, but visited mid March for a relatively early dinner 6pm and 7pm), I would imagine it can get busy during peak season.
Incredible sushi, made fresh in front of you. We also tried the seared wagyu sushi (which melted in the mouth), miso soup, edamame and a variety of hot and cold sakes.
Everything was delicious. The service was exceptional and we felt the price was good value compared to other places in Niseko (the same price as what we would pay for quality sushi at home...

The menu is comprised of 3 sushi sets, five, seven, and nine pieces. We each opted for the nine piece and a glass of hot sake. Delicious and reasonably priced compared to other establishments nearby.
The star of the show was the ebi, and the scallops a close second. At the end of our course, the chef treated us to a tuna hand roll with a special twist - yama wasabi (unique to hokkaido)— a perfect way to...
