Kitchen — Restaurant in Kutchan

Excellent service by staff. The restaurant is beautifully designed and tasteful decor is on point. Had chefs course meal.

App course - delicious / fresh.

Strawberry salad - this dressing felt basic.

The scallop was overcooked - mushroom sauce was good.

Beef dish - chargrilled, yet no char or sear ok the cube of the meat. Meat was also overcooked almost to medium temp, and it was under seasoned. Also not sure the rice-like crumbs added anything to this.

Risotto… rice was def undercooked. The base sauce was good. Roe is nice.

Dessert - fantastic.

It’s such a bummer because I love the potential I see here, but I think if you serve small portions, each bite has to matter. You can’t do that with bland dressing on salad. overcooked proteins snd...

Well three stars is a hard judgement, especially as the restaurant has much more potential. Good thing first: the food was awesome. Also the waiters have been very friendly. Now what was not so good: After taking our jackets and before putting them away they put them simply on the floor for a short time. It took roughly 25 minutes to get the drinks and lastly the timing of the courses was to be improved as we received some which were supposed to be sequential at the same time. For a restaurant that shares the kitchen with a Michelin restaurant thats not justifying more than 3 stars...

We came in December 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner: well-executed fusion style dishes, delicious interesting cocktails and attentive service. We liked it so much we came back in February 2024 and it felt like a completely different restaurant.
