Highly recommended! This small and cozy sandwich restaurant is located in a bustling district, yet it maintains a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The friendly and polite Japanese couple who own the restaurant are welcoming, and the owner even speaks English. Their sandwiches, made with delicious homemade bread, are perfect for breakfast or a light meal. A small package of rusk is a thoughtful touch. came here on a rainy day in may 2 months ago and this place is still stuck on my mind the sandwich itself (I ordered the japone all 3 times I went, but the curry one my friend got is also quite good) is light, warm, and delicious service is exceptional — the place really lives up to its name, as the atmosphere is very comforting and the workers/owners are all very kind. if you’re in kyoto, I highly recommend you check this place out, as the busy pace of travelling really melted away...
