I'm absolutely obsessed with this modern restaurant! The star of the show is definitely their Matcha Noodles - they're creamy, flavorful, and utterly addictive. The owner is a true culinary mastermind who has crafted a menu that's both innovative and delicious.

But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. She made sure we felt right at home and had an amazing dining experience.

And the presentation? Stunning! The dishes are served on beautiful, handmade ceramics that add an extra layer of elegance to the meal. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a truly unique dining experience.

If you're a matcha lover like me, or just looking for a spot that's a little out of the ordinary, look no further. This restaurant is a must-visit - the food, service, and atmosphere all come together to create an unforgettable experience. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten...

Wow wow wow. A perfect blend of modern and tradition - as you enter, you take off your shoes in a zen garden setting while jazz standards play in the background. The atmosphere provides the foreshadow to the meal you’re about to have. The broth and matcha ramen are a perfect duo. The tempura is well done and delicious but cant help but play second fiddle to the completeness and balance of the matcha noodles and smokey broth. Our server was knowledgeable and provided us an impromptu tour into the sourcing and creation of each element. It was truly impressive (and I’m not just saying that because of the multiple high balls we ordered). This meal was in many ways the ideal meal I have been searching for from my trip to Japan - a small hole in the wall restaurant, doing a modern and innovative take that isn’t gimmicky but just executed fantastically. Great service and company just made it all that...

This place is tucked away, but easy to find with google maps and absolutely worth looking for. The presentation is beautiful and every bite was delicious. Matcha noodles were perfectly al dente, the broth was deep and flavorful. The assortment of tempura bites were as fun to eat as they were delicious, served with yuzu salt and matcha salt. What stood out even more was the warm, friendly service. We were a little nervous about our cranky 2-year-old, but they treated us like family. The server even took time to bring out a tray of ingredients that go into the ramen and explained each one. She gave us samples of the broth while we waited for our food and explained that their ramen is Hokkaido style with a Kyoto twist by adding Uji matcha. Amazing! We’re so glad we found this hidden gem and we’d...

We came across this unique Tempura Ramen restaurant on IG while searching for a nice ramen place and decided to give it a try. The setting and ambience of this restaurant is undoubtedly an instagrammable place. The zen garden made it a inviting and cosy for the diners. The server/chef will patiently explained the menu to the foreign diners. Before serving the food, the server/chef will let them smell the raw matcha ramen and explain and taste the soup base. In terms of taste, the ramen is of a very different profile from the usual thick tonkatsu/chicken broth. It is lighter but when combined with the tempura (with yuzu or matcha salt), the taste becomes pretty exotic. It is like a fusion of traditional and contemporary. It is worth a try if you are in the area.
