The beef will not disappoint. Lovely experience by the bbq master after we asked for him to cook our meal as the wait staff started cooking our dishes it felt a bit strange considering the price tag of the special course at $270. We bought a bottle Barolo and she poured two glasses without allowing us to taste first which was a little disappointing when it’s a $160 bottle of wine.
The lady host was very sweet and we could tell she was trying even though her English was minimal. The male acted as if he didn’t speak English did not smile or greet us and kept giving us strange looks after we asked for the chef to cook for us and when we finished our meal he was cooking for the guests next to us and looked over to us and said see BBQ master with a very stern look in his eyes and started speaking English with them ! We found this to be very arrogant and rude.
The beef sandwich I was very much looking forward too although it was cold. Even the meat was cold would be amazing with warm bread or warm meat.
I would recommend a la cart menu over the special set menus on offer.
The chef was gracious and such a gentleman although the wait staff need to tweak their skills as wait staff especially when guests are paying...

The restaurant had two Christmas course menu during the end of year period. Chose the expensive course which included premium wagyu cuts as well as sea urchin, foie gras, truffle and lobster. The course had 10 dishes including dessert and the chef will grill all the wagyu in front of you. The omi beef yukke was fresh and tasty with the sea urchin, and all the yakiniku was grilled to perfection; highlight were the beef tongue which had a nice springy texture and the beef skirt which was tender, not too fatty and had the most beefy flavor. However the omi beef and seafood sushi was quite bland, the rump steak and foie gras sandwich, although rich and flavor packed was difficult to get a clean bite, and wasn't a fan of the porridge like texture of the rice. Overall the meal was tasty with some dishes better than others. The course was on the pricier end, recommend ala carte if you want mainly yakiniku which they specialize....
Read moreThis was one of the most amazing dining experiences we’ve ever had. We ordered the Kiyomizu course and had the honor of being served by Chef Yota. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented with so much care and attention to detail. The chef guided us on how to enjoy each course and made us feel genuinely welcome through his kind conversation and hospitality.
The food was exceptional — every flavor perfectly balanced and served on stunning dishware. We were especially grateful that the staff kindly accommodated us as walk-ins, even though we arrived straight from the rain and were underdressed for such an elegant setting.
The whole meal felt like a wonderful journey through Japanese cuisine and tradition. We’ll remember it for a long time and compare all future dining experiences to this one. Thank you to the entire team for your warmth and...
