On a quiet Monday night with a toddler in tow we had a warm welcome. They had simple delicious salads. Family friendly with chalk board, rocking horse and ride on cow to play with. It was easy access with push chair. We thought it was reasonably priced and had the best cut of beef but there was many options available that were much cheaper but we go for good and small rather than big and cheap. A very calm atmosphere with amazing options of food. They did have an English menu to accommodate travelers. All orders are taken from an iPad at the table. Many choices of Meats and Pork. We loved the “Yaki-Shabu” and Skirt Steak (pictured below). Both were quick to cook and had great seasonings on them. When back in Kyoto, we’ll for sure be here! No customer service. The waiter was irritated and looked like he was forced to work there.

Food came out 1 dish at a time and at 10 minute intervals. There was just us and another table. The dishes were small, about 4-7 pieces per plate and the beef were thinly sliced. Not sure how it was possible to be this slow given the circumstances. The food itself was mid.

My family and I were in the search for a place to eat good beef in Kyoto and we stumbled to this top restaurant in the hotel area. Staff was really attentive, spite half the restaurant was booked for a private event; also, very accommodating given we came in with a small child and a stroller. The beef was delicious and the yakiniku experience was nice. Would come again when in Kyoto!!

My family and I were in the search for a place to eat good beef in Kyoto and we stumbled to this top restaurant in the hotel area. Staff was really attentive, spite half the restaurant was booked for a private event; also, very accommodating given we came in with a small child and a stroller.
