CHISUN PREMIUM Kyoto Kujo — Hotel in Kyoto

The best thing about this hotel is the room is sooooo big! The bath, wash and toilets are separated so that was another thumbs up. There is also a microwave in our room too. The only downside is the hotel failed to clean my room the following day, even though we asked for a room clean (need to paste a magnetic sign on the door to indicate our request to have cleaning of the room). The onsen is another plus point, a desirable activity after a full day's long hour sightseeing.The hotel website indicated that it is a 8-min walk to the train station - no it is not, it is at least 15-min walk to Kyoto stn. There are one 7-11 and two Lawson marts as we walked from Kyoto stn to the hotel.The night shift hotel staff is a young man. I must give him credit for his attentiveness and patience and the biggest plus point is he speaks very fluent and good English! Truly appreciate his service.The coin operated laundry machines work well too though the # of machines available was limited - too many guests using them especially when it was the peak sakura period when my son and I stayed...

We stayed in a triple room for a night. Room was quite nice: simple but elegant, modern and well equipped, including the bathroom. Hotel in general was well furnished, modern and minimal. Reception was quite cold and check-in was done through a machine. Baggage hold service was good. They offer a very small onsen, which we couldn't use because we all had big tattoos which couldn't be covered with stickers. They have a nice laundry, which has enough machines for the size of the hotel. Did not try the restaurant. Location isn't the best but a bus nearby takes you to all major attractions, even if it takes a bit of time. Overall it was a nice experience considering the price, so I would reccomend if a no frills accomodation is what...

Even though this hotel is a bit far from JR Kyoto Station. I can assure you that everything in this hotel is great.

Their staffs are kind. They are well-verse in english.

Their public bath is awesome.

Their breakfast buffet is delicious. some might say that the food options can be too little but it is enough.

Hotel room is spacious.

Amenities and kits, just take what you need.

There’s vending machines in the hotel lobby.

There’s a designated smoking area room near the hotel entrance.

There’s a real time monitoring of laundry machines by just checking it on the hotel TV.

The shampoos and soaps are fragrant.
