I am never one to write such reviews. But this place is UNHEALTHY and Unsanitary to stay in. The “ second bed “ futons are disgusting and filled with what seems to be pee stains and another had red marks that could be other body fluids. This listing is not as advertised at all. My body was very itchy after leaving this room. When we came back in after a quick dinner, the pipes in the room smelled horrible like sewer in the entire room. While management did respond and say they’d come tomorrow, ( just the bathroom pipes ) this is unhealthy to stay in and there’s stains on the floor you are supposed to sleep on with what could be mold. This is so disappointing as travelers when all we want is a sanitary and comfortable stay.
And while the reception folks were nice to greet, they did not bring our luggage up to the room as they had stated after we dropped them off at reception. Beyond unacceptable and very disappointed. This is putting my health and my family’s health at risk.Trying to leave and not even able to sleep 1/3 nights I booked. It’s late almost midnight and now need to find another stay after having this booked...
Read moreI booked this through Airbnb and was not disappointed. The room was rather large and clean. We had a room with two beds in it. There was still a lot of room for me and my friend. The view was nice of the city. It wasn’t loud unless you heard the ambulance drive by. Other than that it was nice and quiet. ||||The hotel was easy to find. We came from Osaka and our map took us some odd way. We waked about 20 minutes from the metro. Which I didn’t understand as there are two bus stops right in front of the hotel. There is a train station less than 5 minutes away. From where we were coming it would have taken us an extra hour to get to that station and then walk from to the hotel. ||||That being the bus stop and the other train station that is close by takes you to all the touristy places. ||||There is a market across the street for snack and a laundry mat under the building (must have coins). I would stay at this place again and recommend it to my friends. ||||It was not expensive at all when we went. ||||Also, the hotel allowed us to store our stuff in the hotel room prior...
Read moreThe hotel is 10 minutes from the train station. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, but the service was disappointing.
Check-in was misleading. We requested a 10:00 AM check-in through Airbnb, but the receptionist—who spoke little English and came across as condescending—explained that check-in at this hotel only meant approaching the front desk, not accessing the room. The room was only available at 4:00 PM unless we paid an extra ¥1,000 per hour (¥6,000 total). Additionally, there was a ¥200 per night, per person charge (¥2,000 total), which was not clearly stated in advance.
Neither staff nor guests greeted us. The receptionists were unprofessional—likely students—and appeared disinterested, except for one kind male receptionist.
The listing includes rooms with and without a sofa, but after booking, they requested an additional fee for a sofa. Basic amenities, such as a toothbrush and shower gel, also required an extra charge.
Recommended for the room, but not for the...
