Warm service, great food and tourist-friendly!

The sake and yakitori sticks are a must-try here! There is a useful guide on the flavor profile of the local sake which is useful for beginners to the drink. Aside from those, we had a mango alcholic bevarage that was really unique as well. There is a good selection of other food and drinks on their menu as well.

Iori-san was very welcoming and all-smiles to me and my friends, making sure that we were tended to. His warm service was definitely another highlight of the place, and to our trip in general. In terms of ordering, there is a QR to access an online menu in English which made is very easy for English-speakers to order.

【20代独身の時に出会いたかったリーズナブルな居酒屋】 京都市伏見区大手筋商店街にある居酒屋。 京阪伏見桃山駅から300m、近鉄桃山御陵前駅から400mと徒歩5分前後に2系統の駅があるのでアクセスは良好。 今では飲む量も減ってしまっていますが、20代独身の頃は、友人とともに2~3回/週の頻度でリーズナブルな居酒屋によく行ったものです。 そんな時に、この時代屋さんのようなコスパに優れた居酒屋に出会っていたら、ヘビーローテーションで通っていたと思います。 なんと言っても逸品は、炭火で焼いた焼き鳥です。 炭に落ちた油が出した煙で燻された鶏肉は、程よく香りがして非常においしいと思います。 店主に聞くと、“朝引き地鶏”を使用しているということで、新鮮でこだわりのあるものということでした。 鶏料理と言えば、大人も子どもも大好き唐揚げ。“時代屋 鶏唐揚げ”は、塩味のシンプルなもの。それでも味は、“第9回からあげグランプリ 塩だれ部門...
