Yet another burger disappointment. Given all the buzz and the heavy “American” branding, I expected a proper burger. I was wrong. Once again, wagyu proves to be a poor fit for burgers: too fatty, overly seasoned, and lacking that real beef flavor that makes a good burger satisfying. The meat’s natural taste gets lost entirely. Honestly, I can’t recommend it, just like every other burger I’ve tried in Kyoto so far. I really miss real burgers. EDIT: The owner has clarified that they don’t use wagyu, but an 80% lean Australian/US beef blend with only salt and pepper. Fair enough.
