Arrived in Kyoto this (Monday) evening went looking for a bite to eat. We were happy to see that Kairikiya was open at nearly 10pm. As we looked at the menus in the window a gent came dashing out to hand us a menu to look through, this was enough to get us through the door. Really easy to order - they have tablets with English support so you can quickly and easily get all the food you want. Ramen is good, gyoza is also good, Karaage was surprisingly good (I’m used to bad Karaage in America). Overall was a filling lunch. Not japanese ramen, taste is off and the ramen is not cool enough to eat as soon as you order which is a great bonus i have often seen at other places. Additionally the meat tastes plain and mostly like fat. There is a high amount of lard. Recommended: take less than regular lard
