The coffee is perfect, with excellent quality, and the cheesecake is wonderful. But what truly takes it to another level is the whole experience—sipping while looking at the woods, listening to jazz, and soaking in the Kyoto vibe.

This is an absolute gem! The ambiente and decorations were super nice, the same goes for the owner. We felt very welcome and our food/coffee also tasted awesome. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Kyoto!

Un très beau café loin des touristes sur Ginkakuji. Un vrai havre de paix. La décoration intérieure est particulièrement bien choisie, l’ambiance est apaisante et les délices qui y sont proposés sont très bons. Nous avons pris un jus de pommes et un jus de pomme avec de la glace pilée. Les deux étaient très goûtus. Nous avons aussi pris un gâteau « test » que l’hôte nous a proposé : une sorte de cheese cake / crumble aux cranberries et au chocolat, c’était exquis ! L’hôte participe grandement à la beauté et au côté chaleureux de ce lieu. Encore merci à lui pour son accueil et sa gentillesse ☺️
