This bar is fantastic. If you stay around Nijo, you must visit this bar. As the name says, the bar only serves belgian beer. The owner speaks English and is very friendly. He is an amazing guy! During the day he is an uber driver, but in the evening he runs the bar. He is very passionate about travelling, belgian beer, food and sakรฉ and likes to talk about it. Can not recommend this place enough!

The atmosphere is fun and friendly as a result of the owner's hospitality and positive vibe. Clearly loved by locals and gaijin alike. Only in Kyoto for four days but I'll be back!

Stopped by late on Sunday evening on a whim and was not disappointed. The owner is clearly a lover of Belgian beers with about 10 different ones on tap, all with their own appropriate glassware. The atmosphere is fun and friendly as a result of the owner's hospitality and positive vibe. Clearly loved by locals and gaijin alike. Only in Kyoto for four days but I'll be back!

This place is amazing!! Weโ€™ve met the host on a taxi ride & he was so helpful and tried to help us find a really good restaurant. Afterwards we understood he had a bar with Belgian beer. Oh boy, we were so glad weโ€™ve visited this place as he had the most amazing belgian beers from tap!! The owner is the most amazing and most holesome guy ever and got the best hospitality. Weโ€™ve received multiple free sakeโ€™s and free desert and got the best information on Kyoto! Would...
