Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Exceptional experience that you might not find elsewhere in Japan or even around the world! Love the concept of from farm to table as all ingredients were really fresh and from local farm. Look out the window, you will see a beautiful little rooftop garden with fresh veggie grown there. Most people don’t know about this restaurant because it’s on the top (3rd) floor of an upscale supermarket in Kyoto. The food is fantastic and many of the vegetables come from their large rooftop garden, which is a must-see. You eat in front of this garden. Amazing farm fresh food would be an understatement. Everything fresh from the farm, I believe it’s true. Foods were so fresh, I’ve only been cooking around 30 years in professional, but born and raised on fresh veggies over 45 years.

It’s not cheap but, if you know garden to table just ask the chef. They are flexible.
