仁和寺の向かいにあるお蕎麦屋さん。
仁和寺の正面に3軒のお蕎麦屋さんが並んでいるので少し判断に悩みますが、口コミを見てこちらに決定。 紅葉のシーズンにお邪魔したので、2024年11月30日14:15にお邪魔したのですが、数名の列ができていました。 店内は明るく席は20席ほど。 清潔感があって好印象です。
とっても美味しそうなよもぎ餅のサンプルが店頭にあったのですが、完売との事。 お店で毎日朝から作っている様です。 次回は早い時間にお邪魔して、是非一度食べてみたいです。
注文したのは、 にしん蕎麦1400円 生ゆばあんかけ蕎麦1270円
蕎麦は更科風の少し白みがかった細い蕎麦。 歯応えはありません。 歯応えのある田舎蕎麦を食べたい方には不向きかもしれませんが、京都の麺類は優しく柔らかいものが主流なので、京都風として楽しみましょう!
出汁は鰹の風味がしっかりと香る、色が薄めの京風だし。 にしんの甘露煮の甘さと香りが溶け込んで、美味しさを引き立たせます。
生ゆばあんかけは、生姜の香りを感じる上品な蕎麦です。 シンプルで、上品ですね。
お値段は少しお高めには感じましたが、冬の寒さを吹き飛ばしてくれる優しいお蕎麦が食べれて、凄く満足です!

The soba restaurant located across from Ninna-ji Temple.
There are three soba restaurants lined up right in front of Ninna-ji, so it was a bit hard to decide, but based on reviews, I chose this one. I visited during the autumn foliage season on November 30, 2024, at 2:15 PM, and there was already a small line of people waiting.
The interior is bright and has about 20 seats. The cleanliness of the space left a great impression.
There was a very tempting sample of yomogi mochi displayed outside, but unfortunately, it was already sold out. It seems the mochi is handmade every morning. Next time, I’ll visit earlier in the day and make sure to try it.
Here’s what I ordered: • Nishin Soba: 1,400 yen • Fresh Yuba Ankake Soba: 1,270 yen
The soba noodles were thin and slightly whitish, resembling Sarashina-style noodles. They don’t have much bite to them, so if you’re looking for firm, rustic-style noodles, this might not be the place for you. However, as soft and gentle noodles are the norm in Kyoto cuisine, I recommend enjoying them as part of the Kyoto experience!
The broth had a clear Kyoto-style flavor, with a delicate color and a rich aroma of bonito. The sweetness and aroma of the sweetly simmered nishin (herring) blended beautifully with the broth, enhancing its flavor.
The Fresh Yuba Ankake Soba featured an elegant ginger aroma and a refined taste. Simple yet sophisticated.
Although the prices felt a little steep, the gentle warmth of the soba was perfect for the chilly weather and left me extremely satisfied.
