Suzuka — Restaurant in Kyoto

I went in for dinner today, Friday night. This is one of the best sushi I’ve had in Kyoto. I went to Rakumi(1 Michelin star) on Tuesday, and I think it was mid. I highly recommend coming to this sushi restaurant. The fish was very fresh and the temperature was perfect. I’m not sure why the other review said it was the worst sushi they had. This is my third visit here and they kept the standard for sushi making every time I was there(and even better this time around). The chef and the staff are very friendly, they even speak English really well. I ordered 5 extra pieces and the bill only came out to ¥23,100, this is the definition of value for money. Excellent Omakase dinner with every dish - both the sushi and the other dishes and dessert beyond exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was prompt and attentive but not in your face. Each dish was beautifully prepared and artfully displayed. The chef was very kind and he and the server helped my mother to the door and called us a taxi. I was shocked that the restaurant did not have a Michelin star - it was undoubtedly better than many starred sushi restaurants I have been to....

This is an entirely authentic, beautiful, delicious experience. I'm actually a little picky when it comes to animal meat (?) but this was all so well prepared and beautiful there was no issue.
