I recently visited a beautifully decorated coffee place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the decor was both stylish and comfortable. I ordered an espresso, which was a bit too bitter for my taste, but the staff kindly offered me a glass of sparkling water to help cleanse my palate. I really appreciated the gesture and it made the experience even better.
I went with a friend and we decided to try the Canele. While it was a little bit hard to eat, the taste was still very good. We also tried the apple tart, which was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly flaky, and the apples were cooked to perfection. It was a great way to end the meal.

Even the staff wear white laboratory coats, continuing the lab theme, the decor is largely minimalist concrete and extraction ducts offset by a very tasteful modern art painting the dominates the “grey landscape”.
The prices reflect the high end nature of the cafe as does the coffee. All very well presented in immaculate crockery and the expresso even came with sparkling water
This place is probably more appreciated during the searing heat of a Kyoto summer rather than the frigid cold of winter.

The downsides are that there is no sign outside so you need to know or guess, that you have to go through the clothes store in order to enter the cafe.
