It was a crowded day at lunch in Arashiyama and luckily Yoshida-ya has plenty of available seats on the 2F. Most of the tourists were eating at the food court or lining up at the snack kiosk, so if you're looking for a "meal", this is a good option.
I enjoyed my wagyu beef bowl, it was filling but nothing special. Just rice, meat and fresh egg (fried rice). Their cold soba is good too. We sat facing the window and we got a good view of the street filled with tourists and the rickshaw drivers.
