1/2025 I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post this but as they say, better late than never. Wanting to experience Arashiyama Bamboo Forest we started our trek along the Katsura River. While walking we were admiring the stunning beauty and taking it all in. We were fortunate to run into a gentleman who was a rickshaw, Mr. Hisato-san. After speaking with him he easily convinced us that this was the way to go and we opted for the full VIP trip which took us deep into the forests and village along with being able to visit what he referred to as his personal favorite place to visit, Hokyo-in, a small Buddhist temple. He is a great rickshaw. He was personable, friendly, informative, and genuine. Oh, and he was also pretty strong to have driven two big guys like us. We truly enjoyed his guide and rickshaw services and I urge everyone to give them a try wherever you can in Japan as they are located in many different locations. They are very professional and work as a well conditioned team....
Read moreIf you ever wanted to feel like royalty and an emperor at the same time, the rickshaw ride in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan is your golden ticket.
You step into a classic japanese wooden chariot, and suddenly, you’re the star of an anime drama, gliding through picturesque streets of Arashiyama with gentle breeze, snow and cherry blossoms in your hair.
Our rickshaw drivers Toru-san and Naoki-san shifts into perfect gear, pampering us like proper chauffers on a royal carriage. Swiftly cruising down the old streets of Arashiyama countryside, dodging pedestrians, and feeling like you're in a royal parade while gazing through the awe-inspiring bamboo forest that brings you to a magical place of zen and peace.
The scenery? Stunning. Toru-san and Naoki-san? Both gentlemen and awesome! The ride? Unforgettable. It's part cultural tour, part relaxation tour – and it's 100% worth it.
Be on the lookout for these humble and fine rickshaw hunks! 5 stars for this...
Read moreI tried all the methods to make a booking.
Even the customer service didn't answer my email.
I didn't expect this kind of service, specifically in Japan. Where supposed to be the excellent customer service.
I'm so disappointed, frustrated, and upset.
I've been planning my first to Japan since last year. I have contacted this company since october and last january.
Someone told me to wait until March because of the new system and bla, bla, bla.... Now, a days before my arrival, someone on this page told me to write directly to the customer/reservations on the website. I did, and now, after 3 days, no one has answered my enquiry .
But, you know what?
I don't want to know about this tour anymore.
I'm mentally tired and frustrated.
Hope someday you (whatever who answer here). Understand that tourists have to make plans since long time before the trip.
And at least we deserve respect for our time
Regards from México...
