食縁坊 — Restaurant in Nagasaki

I randomly stumbled upon this place while looking around. They are located on the 2nd floor. I’m so glad I found them and gave them a try! They’re such a hidden gem. I ordered a lunch item, which is Champon Noodles with a small side of fried rice. Portion is great and it was absolutely delicious!

Side note: on the first page of their menu is a message that welcomes guests. It says, and I’m paraphrasing here, that they want guests to leave with a big satisfied smile while saying “that was delicious!”. When I first read that message, it warmed my heart and I had high hopes for the food. I was not disappointed!

Very tasty special champon (noodle soup with sea food), chive dumplings, fried squid, kimchi fried rice. It's not fancy but it is satisfying. Also friendly staff. Overall a nice experience of Nagasaki Chinatown's food. There is in fact an English menu. They take cash and PayPay. Also +1 for pretty reusable chopsticks instead of the usual...

Nothing wrong with this place but let’s be honest, this is a home cooking place for regulars. The dishes are mostly bland.
