Stumbled into this place on my way back home to my hotel. I was drawn by the speakeasy vibes of this place and the small banner at the entrance, and decided to check it out.
My first impression was that it was a very small, cosy, and well-decorated space. Upon entering, the owner/bartender Shingo-san invited me to take a seat. He told me that there was no menu and that he will make me whatever I felt like having.
I ended up having quite a number of drinks (ended up coming back another time as well during my trip) as Shingo-san was very welcoming and spot-on with his recommendations. I had an Ardbeg 19 batch 2 and learned about the Akkeshi from the owner. Two years later we still...
