A charming small cafe in a largely residential area serving up good toast. Their breakfast set is simple but well-made. There's 2 options - egg sandwich or a toast set and I went for the toast set. It comes with 2 thick hefty toasts: 1 black sesame and the other brown sugar, Homemade jam and egg salad on the side. Comes with your choice of drink too (coffee or tea). The toast is of japanese quality (which means it's great) but the egg salad was mindblowing. Absolutely creamy and decadent. The iced coffee also comes with coffee ice cubes which shows meticulous care to the dining experience. It's a small space with 5 tables so be prepared to wait at least 30mins if the place is fully occupied. I arrived slightly before it opened and managed to snag a seat. Within 15mins of opening, all tables were taken. So do come just before opening if you really want to try!

The food itself was delightful! I really enjoyed it.

However, the staff working that day was not very friendly. I was waiting for my friend and the staff was being very pushy about ordering a drink. I understand it is a small place, but at that time it was not particularly crowded and I noticed nobody was waiting, otherwise I would have tried to be quick.

She also told my friend and I to be quiet. I have no problem with that, but the way of saying it was quite rude and dismissive.

I would like to come back here as it was a cozy, delicious place. But I don’t think I will as I did not enjoy the staff’s attitude when I am...
